Fakear’s residency is entering its next chapter.
Fakear, aka Theo Le Vigoureux, is constantly working on his vision of global electronica, and cross-genre collaborations and encounters are as essential to this as the air we breathe. That’s why he invites a diverse range of artists to join him throughout his residency. This time, he’s joined by Audem, who, alongside running Nowadays Records, has been making a mark on the French electronic scene with her genre-fluid DJ sets.

For more than a decade, Fakear has been a defining force in French electronic music—an artist who hardly needs an introduction. His sound blends world music, hip-hop, modern beats, and a spectrum of bass and electronica styles, from European house textures to post-dubstep and other tones drawn from the British and American underground. To fully grasp his work, you need to look at the current bass-music movement—this new wave of international electronica artists like Fred again.., Four Tet, Bonobo, Sammy Virji, or Camoufly, who are reshaping the sound of today. The result is a blend of floating melodies and intricate rhythmic structures that often create a meditative atmosphere: instinctive and organic, cinematic yet grounded. Fakear keeps evolving his sonic identity, increasingly exploring more experimental approaches.

Audem draws her inspiration from blending styles and genres. She currently manages the prestigious electronic music label Nowadays Records in Paris (home to La Fine Équipe, Fakear, Grand Soleil, Ténéré, Jeff The Fool…). A true music and party enthusiast, she is also behind the Club Nowadays events and the development of the Musique de Fëte collective. Fueled by all these influences, Audem enjoys creating sunny and vibrant atmospheres in her sets, blending house and UK garage.
