NORLYZ feat. MALIKA ALAOUI

NORLYZ fuse the energy of electronic club music with the warmth and expressiveness of acoustic instruments. Moving between driving grooves, cinematic soundscapes, and the freedom of improvisation, the Berlin-based quartet creates music that transcends genre boundaries and opens up worlds of its own. Drawing inspiration from techno, jazz, and global musical traditions, their compositions are rich in movement, depth, and atmosphere—at times hypnotic and danceable, at others expansive, fragile, and almost filmic.

With their second album, set for release on CD and vinyl in autumn 2026, NORLYZ open the next chapter of their sonic journey. Over the past years, the band's sound has evolved into something more playful, layered, and refined, while gaining a stronger sense of focus. The new compositions delve deeper into a universe of resonance, contrast, and unexpected turns. Darker and more multifaceted than their debut album First Dawn on Planet B., these pieces unfold immersive musical landscapes where electronic precision and acoustic vitality merge in distinctive ways.

The album is enriched by guest appearances from Swiss-Moroccan vocalist Malika Alaoui (formerly of Cirque du Soleil), whose powerful and unmistakable voice already shaped the collaborative EP Aurora Ritual, as well as Iranian musician Elshan Ghasimi.

Since their formation, NORLYZ have performed at renowned festivals including Fusion, Elbjazz, 3000Grad, Detect Classic, and Cyprus’ Windcraft Music Fest, as well as at celebrated venues such as Sisyphos in Berlin and Knust in Hamburg. On the upcoming release tour, the band will once again be joined by Malika Alaoui. Together, they create an immersive live experience that moves between concert, ritual, and journey—an invitation to step into another world for an evening.
