Marcoca is a psychedelic indie five piece from Germany, built on instinct, curiosity and the friction of different musical worlds colliding. What started as a loose constellation of individual tastes gradually shaped itself into a sound that feels both nostalgic and strangely unfamiliar, reverb-soaked, groove-driven and always drifting somewhere between clarity and illusion.

After establishing their sonic universe with Silent Struggles and Cosmic Blunder, Marcoca took a decisive step forward with their third album Homage to Delusion. The record marked a profound turning point and crystallized their identity through hypnotic lap steel guitars, dreamy Rhodes textures and songs that invite listeners to let go and dwell somewhere between memory and imagination. This evolution naturally unfolded into Soliloquy, their latest EP, capturing a band fully embracing its own language. Marcoca’s music has always lived in the tension between careful songwriting and fearless experimentation, blending surf, jazz, funk and psychedelia into something colorful, intimate and expansive at the same time.

Their first European tour in 2025 transformed that language into a shared experience and revealed the band at their most alive, stretching songs, dissolving structure and letting moments unfold naturally. Marcoca never set out to arrive anywhere specific. Instead, they keep moving, chasing sounds, embracing uncertainty and finding meaning somewhere in between.
