UTO

UTO are a duo from Paris who sound like they might be from outer space. Chic and alien, rhythm-centric yet diaphanous and ghostly, they are a group that thrive on contrasts and embrace paradoxes. Described variously as witchpop, dreampop and trip hop, they mine a rich seam of 90’s British music from the peripheries, with added je ne sais quoi.

Their latest Single „Art & Life” offers a glimpse into their upcoming second album Album „When All We Want To Do Is Be The Fire Part Of Fire“, set for April 12. Merging pulsating synth lines with dynamic drum rhythms, reminiscent of The Chemical Brothers, UTO creates an uplifting, ethereal electronic dance track. The lyrics poetically capture an artist's search for creative balance and perfection. This introspective and sonically captivating single sets a high bar for UTO's anticipated second album, showcasing their continued evolution in the electronic music landscape.
