Bixiga 70 \u00fcbersetzt den urbanen Puls S\u00e3o Paulos in einen globalen Bigband-Sound: ein vibrierendes Geflecht aus Afrobeat, Cumbia, Funk, Spiritual Jazz und brasilianischen Rhythmen, das tief in Traditionen verwurzelt ist und zugleich zielstrebig die Zukunft im Blick hat. Ein besonderes Merkmal der Band ist ihr kollektives Kompositionsprinzip, bei dem jedes Mitglied gleichberechtigt an der Entwicklung des Sounds beitr\u00e4gt, der zumeist live im Studio eingefangen wird, um die Energie und das Zusammenspiel der Aufnahmen maximal authentisch zu transportieren. Das ist das Fundament f\u00fcr ihre unglaublichen Live-Shows, in denen sie die Rhythmen des Samba, den Freigeist des Jazz, den ansteckenden Groove des Funks und all ihre anderen Einfl\u00fcsse zu einem mitrei\u00dfenden Bigband-Sound verbinden. Dabei erwecken sie nicht nur das ikonische Erbe Brasiliens zum Leben, sondern schlagen transkontinentale Klangbr\u00fccken. Ekstase garantiert.

Neugierig durch unsere Konzertbeschreibung wollte sich Martin Heither dieses Konzert mit seiner Kamera im Gep\u00e4ck „mal anschauen“<\/em>. Am Folgetrag schreibt er: „Einfach gro\u00dfartig – f\u00fcr mich war Bixiga 70 die richtige Wahl…!“<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
